Nuclear Training and Employment for Formerly Incarcerated Ontarians

Canada has an urgent need for workers in growing sectors including the nuclear energy industry. The Brilliant Catalyst initiative at Ontario Tech University aims to train and place formerly incarcerated individuals into high-demand nuclear and innovation roles.

This 24-month program offers work readiness foundations, ESDC-supported trades and high-tech training, résumé help, mock interviews, micro-credentials in AI and energy systems, along with one-on-one mentorship for lasting employment.

Through Northpine’s investment this initiative will fuel economic independence for support formerly incarcerated participants, reduce recidivism risks, and power Ontario's innovation sector and nuclear refurbishment boom with fresh, eager and able talent who deserve a fresh start.
